Medina Intelligence, LLC ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Ike ("Service").

We use your information to:

• Provide the Service

• Ensure security
• Comply with legal obligations

We use your conversations, workouts, and profile to provide Ike's coaching and to operate and improve the product — including reviewing conversations to debug issues, understand how Ike is used, and make it better. Access for this purpose is limited to Ike's own team and is never exposed to trainers or other members.

If we ever introduce an ad-supported or differently-priced plan, it will be a separate plan you actively choose, with its own terms — we will not silently change how we use the data of your current plan.

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal information
• Use your data for advertising
• Share your data with data brokers

4. AI Processing

4.1 Third-Party AI Services

Your conversations and certain data are processed by third-party AI services (currently Anthropic) to:

• Generate personalized training plans
• Answer fitness questions
• Provide coaching responses

4.2 What We Send to AI Services

• Chat messages you send
• Relevant profile context (experience level, schedule)
• No sensitive identifiers (email, full name not sent)

4.3 AI Provider Privacy

Anthropic's data handling is governed by their usage policy. As of our last review:

• API data is not used to train their models (business API)
• Data is retained for 30 days for abuse monitoring

5. Data Sharing

We may share your information with:

• Service Providers: Hosting, analytics (technical data)
• AI Providers: Plan generation (chat, profile context)
• Legal Authorities: As required by law

We require all service providers to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.

5.1 Your Trainer

If your gym or trainer uses Ike, your trainer can see the plans, schedule, and progress they coach you on. Your direct conversations with Ike are private to you and are not shown to your trainer.

• Deletion: Delete your account and data

• Opt-out: Decline certain data uses

We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures including:

• Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
• Encryption at rest (Firebase)
• Access controls and authentication
• Regular security reviews

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Ike is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

10. International Users

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our servers are located. By using Ike, you consent to this transfer.

For EU/EEA users: We rely on standard contractual clauses for international transfers.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights:

• Right to know what personal information is collected
• Right to delete personal information
• Right to opt-out of sale (we do not sell data)
• Right to non-discrimination
